Three connected workstreams: governance, regional administration, and public information. This diagram summarizes documented responsibilities rather than a measured before-and-after result.

Context

The International Marketing Community of BINUS brings together students across Kemanggisan, Alam Sutera, Malang, and Semarang. A distributed organization needs both accessible public information and shared procedures for its internal work.

As General Secretary, I worked on both: a website that brings the community’s information together and an administrative framework that regional teams can use consistently.

My contribution

I designed and developed the public website using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and MDX. It brings organizational information, program records, and event schedules into one place.

Alongside the website, I drafted governance documents, SOPs, templates, and documentation workflows. I trained and supported regional secretaries as they adopted the procedures, combining written guidance with hands-on coordination.

Approach

The public site organizes content around the community, its programs, and its calendar. A program archive gives past activities a lasting home, while regional information helps visitors understand an organization spread across several campuses.

For internal work, I focused on a common administrative structure: reusable documents, clearer procedures, and access-controlled Microsoft 365 workflows. The aim was to make recurring responsibilities easier to understand and hand over between people and regions.

Results

The live site provides a shared reference for the organization and its activities. Its public About page lists four regions, a community of more than 500 members, and my role as Secretary.

The governance work produced a set of documents and procedures for regional coordination. This case study presents the delivered work and its organizational scope; quantified time savings and website engagement remain unmeasured.

Limitations and lessons

Internal policies and records require review before they can be shared publicly. Future evaluation could examine how easily teams find information, complete recurring tasks, and hand over responsibilities.

This work connected software delivery with operational responsibility. A useful website and a useful process both depend on understanding the people who maintain them, the information they need, and how that information changes over time.

MY CONTRIBUTION AT A GLANCE

  • Created governance documents, SOPs, templates, and administrative workflows.
  • Trained and supported regional secretaries in using shared procedures.
